I Will Wait

its the season of Christmas everywhere. So, why not feature a song that would suit this festive season? I am not suggesting this song to you guys just because it suits the theme. But, it is indeed a very soulful song. Which song, you ask?

I must thank my friend Alisha Parekh (a very good tattoo artist!) for pestering me to listen to this song. Ever since, i've been in love with this song. Thank you Alisha! This song can be proof to the fact that you do not need an orchestral setting to make a good song. Guitar(s), Organ and the vocals of Chris Martin is the perfect combo to elevate you to the world where the worries of the day is peacefully non-existent.
When he says "for you i'll wait..." i feel calmness spreading through me in all directions like a ripple spreading in all directions when a small stone is dropped in it. The innocent conviction with which he sings the song makes me believe that, indeed, there will be a time when some King will arrive to make this world One Kingdom. (Till then, i'll have to adjust with Chris Martin's conviction and his soulful vocals.) Oh, and the guitar lead at a couple of places is simply The Best!
So, i hope you listen to this song and like it. If you do, Yay! If not, i am sorry.

Cheers!
