when Light fell...

   i just realised that i am running out of photographs in my archive! Gotta do something. Will do something. Sometime soon. Till then, i'll manage with the ones left. And, this ladies and gentlemen, is one among them. This is Actual Abstract Art! ( notice the alliteration? cool, no? )
  So, i have no idea about the rules of photography when it comes to light settings and light position relative to the object and the source of light. But, the shadow of the ball falling on the floor looks classy. (i guess) Maybe, an expert would be able to tell better. But, i think, somehow i managed to get it right this time! Only, Only if the ball could have moved a little to the right of the frame. (oh! the ball cannot move! i should've moved the camera! Sorry Mr. Ball, my bad.)
   (Also thanks to my mom and the maid who have kept the floor so clean!)

about You and Me...

   Over the past couple of days, i have been coming across a lot of lectures, discussions and talks on 'Love'. Two of my good friends who just entered the world of blogging (look who is talking!) ALSO have started off with  poems on 'Love'! So, i thought why not make this post a special post? A Love special!

 Ready? lets go!

   i am sure everybody has had some sort of love story in their lives. Human love, material love, animal love etc. But, one thing that most of you would agree with is that- Love, when fresh, is Beautiful! Yes! the coolest thing ever discovered by man! The most Innocent, complex thing that can occupy some of the most vacant minds. So, this song goes out to all those who are in Love!

   Yeah!!! that's what i am talking about! (so cute your smile is!!!) the plain innocence of the song makes you fall for the song (and also your lover) every time you listen to it! there is nothing great about the lyrics, honestly speaking. But, the composition makes the song what it is! Especially towards the end... ah! what love!!! :) So, if you are in love and haven't heard this song earlier, You are Welcome! Now go make your partner listen to it! Bet he/she will bruise his/her knees by falling for you! (okay. that was lame. :) )

   Now, not everybody can hold on to the feeling of love can they? And sometimes things go wrong. And the relationship has to end. Sad. In most relationships there is either the Dumper or the Dumpee. Which one is better? I'll get to that in a while. But, for now this is the song for those who have lost their love.

Dil Kabaddi- Ehsaan



   Here is what i think of this song. The best break up song i can think of. the Lyrics of the song are unlike anything else. I know Aadat by Jal is another contender. But, this song beats it by quite a fair margin. i sing like a total loser. But, everytime this song comes up i go Gungo! (Journalism students of Christ University will relate to this word!) You might say i am exaggerating. Maybe. But again, ITS MY BLOG!!! I CAN DO WHAT I WANT!!! err... sorry... :)
  The next question was, is it better to be a dumper or a dumpee. First of all, i think if one has to truly enjoy the sound of music, he/she must have a love failure! Because there are very few songs which can be close to your heart when you are having a good love life! (partly because there is someone else close to your heart.) But, if you have had a break up or if you have been jilted, Music will be the love of your life! SO many super cool sad songs you'll find. (i can also suggest you some! :) ) when you sleep, when you travel, when you eat: its everywhere. running around in your wrecked mind!!! Quoting my friend who entered the blog world:

  So, my friend (yeah you! the one reading this despite not wanting to!) if you have been dumped, i salute you! You are lucky! Before you get over it and move on, devour the world of music! make it your life! Enjoy the sadness! such pleasure from sadness is ONLY available through a relationship gone sour! it somehow feels really good to feel bad. the aching of the heart. Especially when you listen to some songs you feel like as if the song was written keeping you in mind! (i know. Right???)  (And if you are a Dumpee, not your fault man....  the world is a mean, mean, mean place! Like your partner did not know this before getting into a relationship with you! But, the only drawback is, you'll not be able to enjoy some real good music or poem or a movie. its okay. Just hide your guilt and fake a smile :) )

   And, finally... to the rest for whom all this love makes no sense. I give you, the Brother-Sister Love! This is one of a kind Love! Please preserve it. Not everybody gets to experiencve it. Need not be siblings alone. Mom, dad, Friends especially. again, PRESERVE IT! of course you can hate them! But in a loving manner! :)

  So... with this i think i would like to end my tediously long post.

 Love, is the most important ingredient of life for you and for me. Love is what makes you and me. Love is about You and Me...

   some strange kind of exhilaration within me! amazing what one appreciative comment by one person has done to my interest for blogging! Thank YOU! :)
   getting to the picture at hand, (screen actually) it was my entry snap to one photography competition which i never won! But, this picture is special to me. (not because i am gay or anything) i remember a photographer telling- if you want to click good photographs, focus on the eyes of the subject! this is exactly what i managed to do! Lovely expression of the eyes lighting up with anticipation. I am not rally good with portrait photograph. But, lucky me, i managed to get this!
   Also, as i say, i have got a lot of photogenic friends! So George, if you are reading this, This is for you! 

in love?

   Yeah! Silhouette once again! was a dark and gloomy day. not much sun around. and this branch seemed to attract a lot of birds. they would come stay there for a while and fly away. Soon some more would come and perch on the branch. But, here a couple came and sat there and the one on the top ( i would like to assume the husband/boyfriend. But, for gender fairness lets keep it 'x') was poking his/her neck as though giving directions to the one on the bottom. after some time the bottom crow took flight and then the one on the top.
The end.
moral: crows haven't invented GPS navigation system yet!

ghost-ly love..

   So, things are somehow slowly returning to normal and hence my updates are becoming regular. This snap is my first attempt at HDR Photography. (i.e., where you overlap three identical images of different exposures) So, my amateur style is quite visible from the blurry kind of image. But, it still manages to look quite exquisite. the dark clouds and the shiny water and the extra-ghost-ly foliage around the river stream makes the picture worth it. i don't know if its clearly visible, but i really like the way the power lines stand dominating at the far right of the snap. looks like as if some bully is standing with his hands on his hips and watching you do your work. Spooky!!! that's what HDR images usually do to a pic.
    But, if by chance i put up the actual pic, you'll be surprised! Its a different picture all together! I'll try putting up The original picture in some time. Until then this is the actual picture! (notice the caps on 'the'??) :)

Been a long time since my last post. Findin it pretty difficult to find time to be regular. Anyway, better post than no post! :) so, what do we have with us this time? lets see... m playlist says-

   So, this song is featuring here today because of the soul magnet this song seems to have in-built. i like the way it starts, the way it goes on and the way it ends. The lyrics are very good too. But, what i like the most about this song is the chorus. i will not put the lines here because it does not sound good at all when you read it. But, listen to it and it won't disappoint you. Hopefully.
   Oh yeah, one warning though. This is a mellow kind of song. (like quite a lot of James' songs) So, if you are the rebel kind of person, you might not like it as much. So, there ends my article for today. Listen to the song and like it. If you do, Yay! If not, i am sorry.
