and time to leave...

Holiday season is one thing i am not very fond of. Agreed you get holidays and no classes or the mad rush of traffic and all. But, holidays also mean that you will not be able to meet your friends everyday. Especially in my class, most of my friends are from faaar faaar off places. (within India) So, the moment the college closes for a vacation, everybody packs off and leaves. But, where does that leave me? i just watch everybody excitedly talk and ask what they are taking back home as presents and what time is their train/flight/bus... Of course my parents and all are here at Bangalore so i need not go anywhere. But still man! Even i wanna experience the thrill of packing for a vacation. Even i wanna book tickets well in advance and then wait patiently till i can make use of that ticket! Even i wanna get wished Happy Journey instead of just wishing others! Sigh! The nostalgia when you see people walking madly, dragging their bags, hoping they do not miss their train/flight/bus... The air is thick with departure. Happy departure for most of them. But, not all. Not me. Not always. Miss You guys....
But, the other side of it? Ha! that's the fun part. Yes even i wanna travel home for vacations like the rest of my friends do. But, i do not wanna have the sullen mood for over a week like my friends do! I do not wanna say- Oh! Back to Bangalore! (in a sad way, of course!) i can, for once, be happy to return to college. I cannot wait till i start cribbing about the stupid attendance system. I cannot wait to curse the traffic. Yes, it is bad. Yes, it is messy. But, take it away from me for even a couple of days and it feels like the world is the most boring place in the world! :)
Oh, btw did you notice my new Copyright? liked it?

Cheers!
